I am working at the Fitness club from 745-130 pm.Those of use who work on holidays get paid time in a half. After I am done working, I will workout myself. I have Tuesday off from my other job since I have an allergy test appointment to figure out what I am actually allergic to. Then I have an A's game that night.

Steaks sound delicious!smile

Yes you did. aww

And yes I do know which direction is south, haha.  Hmm, maybe I'll forget about the steaks and get a bunch of shrimp and some littleneck clams.

Tired tonight ,so I am just cooking a little Jambalaya,it is shrimp season down here, but gas prices are killing us,For fresh ,off the boat swiming in the Gulf this morning 14-16 shrimp ,cost me 4 freakin dollars a poundfurious,For the un initiated shrimp are measured by how many it takes to make a pound.Hence 14 -16 = 1 pound. Now think about that little bag of frozen shrimp (3 years old) that you paid $8.99 for 1 pound.NOW, do you see why we put up with hurricanes.??weirdface

I actually have the day off. Of course thats only because its my scheduled day off. I am going to grill some chicken, some asparagus, and make something with potatoes. Not sure what I am going to do with them though. I am on a diet and really watching what I eat. I am cooking for my family though so I dont want to skimp on the flavor.

Oh dearest BC, what something healthy but still tasty to do with small red potatoes? I am trying to go low fat but I still want it to taste good.

Well It looks like our plans have changed again ... we will be in Live Oak Spring, Ca. at our favorite Casino "The Golden Acorn" ... It will be hot on the hill but the beer will be cool and the place is always clean and friendly. Besides they have a wonderful steak and egg breakfast for $1.99 ... including biscuits and gravy ... and a drink ... if I remember right ....

And Like Mavriktu said lets not forget the reason for the season in the first place ...

God Bless all our War Veterans ....

The easiest thing is to slice them into quarters or dice them, sprinkle some garlic powder and herbs on them and spray them lightly with a little cooking spray.  Then either wrap them in foil and cook them on the grill or roast them in an oven. Or you could boil them and add just a little chicken bouillon and herbs to the water. smile
