well guys I am starting to walk. I am not that much out of shape but...
the other day I saw what was a realatiy check and said, I gotta do something.
it was a girl prolly 25 -28 and weighed close to 400, and she was about 5-5. thats it. Im never going to get to that point. The reality was I dont really walk the dog anymore i just sit on the stairs and watch her as she does her business. now every saturday and sunday, and everyday Im off in the morning im walking her. (and she loves it...as always)
i like walking from my couch to the fridge and back
LOL me too...and it shows. However, I can still do all the sit ups and pushups required of the 20 somthings in the academy..... (we won't talk about the running part )

Ilove to walk right now when I get some slack time at work I run at least 10 mins straight and then do some 5mins runs.
Are you doing this on your breaks at work and/or Is that minutes or miles?? Any which way Good for You!!
I got a ..pedometer..(I think that is what it is called). and did some walking yesterday.. I ended up with 10 miles in all for the day...whooo hooo...and I did 2 and 1/2 miles this morning before breakfast...

my neighbor saw me last night and told me that 24 hour fitness is running a special.
I can join for like $20 or $25 a month with limited access. (which is 4 days per week. thats all I would do anyway)
walking is how I lost my first 40-50 pounds back when I weighed 314 pounds...im now down to 176, perfect weight for my height.
Cool Merk....congradulations....are you going to a guy and/or are you having a hard time maintaining it??
I would like to loose about 40 pounds... so far I have lost 5 pounds...I am averaging at least 3 to 5 miles a day now...trying to eat right not just diet...

Hello Guys Walking is one of the primary gaits of locomotion among legged creatures, and is generally more slowly than running and other gaits. Walking is determined by an upside down pendulum phase in which one's body system containers over the firm branch with each phase.And in short thats a great exercise.Thanks a lot!!
