C44-Do you blow off steam in here or are you really just that confrontational all the time? lol. I honestly don't think I've seen a single post by you that was not provocative. I'm just trying to get a better read on you so do tell: Is it a)fun and games for you, b)simply just everything posted on this forum (illiciting a response from you) is just that 'riling', OR c)some weird combination of the two? Inquisitive minds want to know.

Believe it or not, when "unprovoked" I'm pretty humble. My Sarge has had to "check" me a few times at work when there's a large crowd that needs dispursing. That's why I have the native american name "Charges-Like-Rhino"
The reason I'm so confrontational on the forums, I think, it make people really think about their opinions, and to make me think about mine. There are many issues where I'm not 100% where my opinion lies, but there are many where I am.
The reason you don't hear me say much else is because I have a very "Zen" mentality. So if my words are no better than silence, I try to keep silent.
I know my attitude often comes off as abrasive. I really don't mean it that way and if you could "see" me saying these words, then it probably wouldn't seem as bad.
I think my biggest problem is not knowing when to let it go- as my arguement with narc in o.com proves. He's obviously an idiot, and I couldn't let it go.
Hope this clears things up. This is as good a place as any to call me out if you have any personal problems with me. Let's hear it. I believe insults are more sincere than compliments.

Of course at work, I'm often accused of being racist. "You just pulled me over because I'm black", etc. But I'm not. Give me enough time, I'll find a good enough reason to hate you for a far more personal reason.

I am prejudice, but not racist. It's funny how many people intermix those words.
Racism would imply I think my race is better than any other. Only look in a trailer park- or my family, for that matter- and you can see how ridiculous that statement is.
I am prejudice, meaning I tend to judge people based off what I see. However, color of skin rarely plays a factor. I say "rarely" because if I see a white dude in a black neighborhood at strange time of the night, that's suspicious. Does that mean one race is better than another? No. Does that mean white people can't have black friends? No. But it does arouse my curiosity. I'm open minded though, so him being white wouldn't be the ONLY thing I look at. If he looks like he is living in his clothes and most of the neighborhood is middle class, then that'd be another factor. You get what I mean.
I had a motorist tell me I was prejudice. I told them "You're right, I'm prejudice against people that violate traffic laws." I'm surprised they didn't complain.
Of course now that I have a camera, I have to be more careful what I say. It's not that I'm worried my bosses would use it to hang me. I'm just worried if the media got a hold of me saying something like that, the only thing the public would hear is "You're right"

Finally, someone that understands that concept and the inherent differences in those two words. And so far as the media...Not only would they only hear "You're right", they'd immediately cut to Rodney King and start telling the world how it was only a matter of time before you repeated that act....god bless our media....
I had a classmate in the academy that would immediately call your prejudice statement profiling and I never could seem to get him to understand that not everything begins and ends with race. It is my prejudice that keeps me alive, if I see two black guys in the ghetto dressed like gangsters wearing colors....I am going to approach with extreme caution. On the same note if I see a white guy wearing a set of combat fatigues screaming about the missing 13th amendment I am going to treat him the same. This is not racism, this is survival.

Thanks for the candor C-man. When dealing with 'confrontational' personalities, I always prefer to know if I'm dealing with someone who's basic state of mind is one of anger or inquisitiveness. I'm glad you cleared it up. I don't have any personal probs with you-just figured I'd get my apprehensiveness resolved (I'm sure you of all people know what it's like to deal with people who argue just to argue-wanted to make sure that wasn't the case)....let the debates continue.
