No thats fine, I its just been somewhat stressful for me. My dad wants me to get a job, which I don't blame him. But its almost to the point where there pushing me into something I don't wanna do.
Well, stick to your guns and dont do anything you dont want to do...that will just be awful and you will feel worse.

Yeah, my dad wants me to apply for the railroad company because there post to be expanding there tracks. But here is the thing, i will have my AA (alcohols anonymous) in Criminal Justice. I wouldn't mind finding a job in that field.

Well, so what of the Railroad pays well....whats the point of being paid well if you hate what you do. I have a B.A. in Social Science...now if I ever found a job; entry level pay would be under 35K, if I am lucky. I choose not to work and do what I love...being a mom and housewife. The pay is crumbs and there are no sick days, but the benefits are fabulous...and I am doing what I love, not what someone else thinks I should be doing with my life.
You can do a lot with an A.A. in C.J...no matter what anybody tells you. It wont be glamorous jobs and hard work is involved, but you will love doing it and may even what to specialize and obtain an advanced degree in the same or similar field. .
Be the ball, Toby.......set your goal and do it!

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to have a career that makes you happy. It's a terrible feeling to spend so much of your life going into a job every day and being miserable. I am thankful every single day that I landed in a career that I love and that pays me well, but it took work to get here. At one point, I was going to school and working two jobs that I hated, but I knew it was only temporary and that's what I had to do to get where I wanted to be. Personally, if I needed money I would take a job doing something I hate ONLY as a means to an end while I continued to pursue my ultimate career goal. Especially since you have responsibility to no one but yourself.
Just my two cents.
