I didn't think anyone would notice.

I'm not feeling well, I've been under the weather all week. I'd thought I'd be able to stay home from work today but there was a problem and I had to go in.

That's good that you can just drop it on the way out!  My dad used to bring all his work stress home with him until my mom got on his case an told him to cool it!  CTR has a time limit when he gets home from work 30 minutes to bitch and crab, then shut up about work already!  I know he needs a sounding board but not all night!

the way it should be. My husband use to bring his work home, bitchin and whining. I had to ask him to leave it at work or talk about it in a calm manner in a day or two after he had calmed down.
