I tried to resist....but when Zap posted his "creepy" pic it reminded me of MP's pic of the YMCA guy......I was overcome by the little monster inside...I couldn't stop myself....LOL

E-Con - Paint Shop Pro 7......I also added Eye Candy to my PC. It gives you some really cool options. Paint Shop Pro is really easy to use too, so even a mook like me can use it! LOL

BOO HOO, wwaaa! If it is published, then what is the gripe?
Where is your pic USA? Would you mind if I altered it to something you are not....in an intentionally derogetory fashion....and then posted it where you work? (I work on the web...)
Aside from that....it is a copywritten image and is published as such. I posted it here for only a day or two...then removed it. Those who were here had fun. I"m glad they did. But I can't allow the image to stay up in that fashion as I was no longer the one who was hosting it.

Exactly, and if google bots search this site, which they might not do yet as it is relatively new, but if they have, then it is preserved forever in the google cache anyway.
Well, it was in the thread that yours was in, but I am too much of a dumb ass, and don't know how to keep it there, and it disappears. If you would like, I can email it to you and you can alter away, then we all can be happy again. BTW, I am a homo, so better come up with another theme then the YMCA thing.

Exactly...I'm not...there is one of the problems, the other is that it is simply not public domain property and has never been. That is why I, the copywrite owner, pulled it down after a day or so. Had I left it up indefinately, Sparky's argument might have some merit.

It was only a bit of fun zap, lighten up.
i thought the Google cache lasted for only 30 days..hmm, i should google Google and find out
I have no problem with the 'bit of fun'. It was the protection of business property that was the issue.
.........even if google does store the page for 30 days or indefinately...it does not change the copywrite on the images. They can be used for certian authorized uses only. That particular one may be viewed only in connection with the book (after you buy it), or where ever else I give permission for it to be used. Again, that is why I took the image down soon after everyone had a chance to see it, to keep the line bright.

Ok, I would now like to say that I admire you for having the bollocks to post a pic of yourself in the first place, because I would like to but keep bottling out at the last minute.
Next time you do decide to post a pic though, make sure it is one that is not subject to copyright laws though, because although that pic might not ever be reproduced in any form here, whether it is it's original form or manipulated, the pic could of been saved by any visitor to this site and could be posted anywhere on the net at anytime in the near or distant future, hopefully this won't happen though as you seem a bit overprotective about it at the moment.
I hear you. No way in hell I'd ever post another here either.
I have copywritten images all over the web I'm sure. But that is different than having your personal picture out there....especially if it is published as an author. It was after all my mistake for posting it in the first place. I thought it would be safe here of all places.

I have them all saved, and exspecially the YMCA one. I am gonna back that one up so I am sure not to loose it.
I strongly suggest they never see the light of day. If you want to beat off to them in private...I can't stop you. I am sure however that you are aware of the US copyright laws.
