the sad fact is the reason most men act like this and continue to is that some girls, will take it.

I agree with yeah 100%! Men are the easiest creatures to get along with. We have very very basic needs. We like to eat, sleep, and shag. It's not rocket science.
In my experience people that whine about not being able to find a suitable mate/date haven't done enough inward soul searching.
If someone is attracting the wrong type of people they ought to stop and figure out why. For instance, is it their attitude, or the places and loser they hang out with, or a combination of many little things.
Most decent guys don't want to date recently divorced angry women. If your looking to find Mister Right why not try and be Ms Right (and emotionally stable) beforehand.
As for the young guys, we are fast approaching "cougar" season and they may be practicing their hunting skills. So, use them and punt them out the door when you're done.
I recently got kicked off my brothers message board for inadvertantly his mother inlaw, that she should stop bitching about her husband having an affair and leaving her. I then suggested that he she wouldn't have gained 200lbs, cooked a meal once and while, and had sex with him occassionally he wouldn't have left.
What I didn't know was that was exactly had happened. He was a hard working guy, and she had become morbidly obese and they hadn't had sex in years.
To me, certain things are deal breakers. It's expected that over the years to put on some weight and that the frequency of sex may decrease, but if it goes to extremes, then deals off. Even more so if the expectatons have been well comunicated.
We should be "adults" when we enter into a marriage and we should take accountibility for our part in its success or failure. There normally is never one innocent victim, there may be a clueless victim that completely missed the writing (yelling and screaming) on the wall before the relationship disolved.

You hit it right on the head. As far as the "deal breakers", well I am now a total believer in that. As shallow as it sounds we, (men), are simple. If you cut one of the needs, the need doesn't go away, it’s just found elsewhere. PERIOD! This can be done by cheating, or letting it die slowly, to go elsewhere. Women can play with that fire all day long but in the end, it will always bite them in the ass. I'll admit women have needs as well and those can have equal consequences if not filled. From that point on it gets more complicated based on the persons individuals needs. There is one difference though, if you ask a woman what a man wants, the answer will come right out. If you ask a man what a woman wants, you will either get silence, or a million different answers. That tells me that woman do have a upper advantage to help make the marriage work. (when it comes to the needs.) However, for whatever reason since they know this they feel obligated if not in the mood. And thus normally won’t if that “mood” isn’t right. By this point the guy if too frustrated to give a shit what her problem is and it begins to go down hill. I’m not saying this is the case all the time, but I have seen it in many couples, and now I have lived it sooooooo…..
