Ok,

so Im making breakfast for the stray. Im leaning towards french toast but someone said...how about waffles?

both are about the same amount of work. Both are good breakfast foods and all.

I say pancakes because they're less trouble.  I love the other dishes, but hate to be in the kitchen still cooking while everyone else is starting to eat.  But maybe you're better at making them and can get them done quicker, so in that case I'd say waffles.  I love waffles.

Eggs Benedict, pain in the ass but well worth it.

You can poach an egg can't ya

Bottled Hollandaise, I think you can get pre-sliced Canadian bacon.

Thomas' English muffins & you're all set.

Garnish with fresh fruit & serve with a glass of champagne  .... LOL

I think I've been watching too much food channel.
