So a friend and I were out for a drive tonight, just waiting time and trying to find something to do. Anyways, we are right on the state line and I seen one cop car for a camp ground. Not a big deal. Then about 2 mins later I see a county deputy with his you fuckin better slow down warning light on. I looked at how fast I was going and I was 5 over the speed limit, keep in mind this is out of town on a 35 mph zone. Who the hell would have stopped me, esp. a deputy going 5 over the speed limit. WTF.

After thinking about telling my parents, I figured what the hell. So I told them, and they said its a pretty serious area where they are watching due to high traffic volumes. There was a few cars, but it wasn't no 5:00 rush hour.

last week of the month around here, they stop you for tail lights, seat belts, what ever they can think of to fill their quota! And 5mph over is enough to smack your ass around here. Anything under that you can get out of if you take it to court, but 5mph and they got you for atleast $75.00!

I was going 71 in a 55, but i was honest and told him i wasn't paying attention. He marked me at 67 so that it would only be 81 instead of 159. He was cool, I guess. It was a sheriff, not even a trooper. Caught me off guard.
