we got 14 inches in the last 15 hours. Its a mad house. but I survied and made it home after my boss told me..get....


 


one lady went it into labor on the freeway, shut down by flooding and a jack knifed 18 wheeler. she was taken to the hospital as she was starting to deliver. I havent heard what the weight was but she had a boy in the abulance.

Mayor whtie is attempting at this time to declear the majority of Harris county  a desator area.


 


many people have been flooded out of their homes, lost thier cars and not able to even make it into work,......its really sad.

Damn..my husband called me and told me about this.......cant get much from the news...detail that is.


 


My family is the the Barker Cypress and Eldridge area.....is that considered NW.....anyway......whats up with those areas? I should just call my bro. Are phone lines down?

Well, next time I am in Houston, we have no excuse not to meet. I usually stay with my family out there.


I will call my brother and see how he is doing. Knowing him, he is taking care of his kids because his ex is too busy to do it or acting helpless.

I just checked the weather and we are supposed to get another 5-7 inches tonight with 10 inches possible in some areas. Hobby Airport had to be closed for several hours this morning due to the runways being flooded. Its not raining at the moment where I am at but it has been all day. I am sure it will start up again.

Have no clue what we are going the evacuees. they can do what ever they need to stay dry.

I think its finally over. Now the clean up begins. I am thankful that I didnt have to deal with any of the bad stuff.

not only does that hurt the farmers and the food industry, it hurts the ground and its a very easy way to start getting brush fires.
