So to hell with my normal doctor and off to find a new one ....
Turns out she was a female .... And pretty to ...
Actually sat down with me for over an hour and listened to what I had to say ... Gave my input the level of a person that actually new what he was feeling ....
When I told her which drugs I needed and how much .... She agreed and prescribed them or gave me free samples ..... All this with out making me feel I was a druggie looking for drugs ... No unneeded test or being sent off to a specialist ....
Just come back in four months ..... fifty four dollars for the visit and have a great day ....
Now all I need is a good excuse to have her examine me naked and it will be a perfect world ...
Had a female doc do my yearly physical for my agency... Um yeah, slightly akward (sp?) when she had to do the check for hernias... Oh well...

No, didn't do that. Awkward as in "have never had a female Physician do a full physical exam on me before."

I'm just delighted to find a Doc that spends time to listen instead of having an opinion before that walk in the room ....
thats the thing I think makes the differance between male and female docs.
I have a female doctor and she listens and she talks TO me not at me. She listens To me andgoes from there, instead of...dissmiss and give a scrpit and not really give a care.

That is something that does not happen over here, a 3 day wait is about right for an appointment. After 3 days you will either be cured anyway or dead.

Damn, that sucks.
Kind of.....I have medical insurance. Its the American way...high premiums to insurance companies who pay doctors to rip them off and keep you doped up so you are forced to go see them when you run out of meds.....let you die when your insurance runs out.
Oh sorry.....I shouldnt complain, my insurance saved my sorry butt 11 years ago in the accident. If I didnt have it, I would still be drooling and wearing diapers in a county hospital...."

You guys need to adopt our way, a percentage of each pound earned is taken from our wages each week to fund the NHS, that way all medical care is free. Only thing is, the people that don't work are supported by the workers, as are the immigrants that see the UK as an easy target.
Maybe your way is better after all. I don't know though.

We get to pay all the extra and our own bills too .... Then the goverment set standards and gives you the choice of going to the doc or not working....

So the UK way probably is better, pay for all the other scroungers as well, knowing that any treatment we need will be free. The only thing we pay for is dental treatment.

Whats the dif ... you pay through taxes ... we pay through our noses ...
No one can be turned down for treatment they can't afford .... The only thing we pay for is dental treatment.
... You just want her to give you a Prostrate Exam don't you ....
