We were able to settle custody this morning, so we DO NOT have to go to court for that next week!


Now we just need to settle the support issue and do the property settlement, and this divorce can be finalized!!!!  Maybe by Christmas. . .?

Thanks, you guys.  The best part was that after I told my daughter what we had agreed to, she was sooooooooo happy!  She was smiling and laughing and dancing around - more spirited than I had seen her in a couple of months.


That just confirmed to me that I was right to stand my ground for what I thought was best for my kids.


 


I can't wait 'til I'm finally free. . .
