Was it the Bellydance class or the Striptease class?   How many ball bells did you lift?  Did you hit a home run?

Sounds like a good work out to me.   Glad you are feeling good!!!!!!!!!!!

The Belly Dancing class is at a different gym which I can not goto. The striptease class is at 24hour Fitness. I lifted 30lbs-50 lbs at the fitness club I work at.

Sounds like you had a good workout.   How many reps do you do with the weights?  and how often?  I have been thinking about getting some weights and/or some small dump bells for the truck.  I was planing on starting small and working my way up.

At Camp Beauregard ... some of the guys have been going to the gym.  I was thinking about joining them.  Any advice you can give me?

There is rumor of starting a softball game between the drivers and the FEMA employees.

I'm glad your workout was great. Mine sucked. It was the first one since I hurt my shoulder a while back, and it stiffened right up to the point of almost locking up. But I'm going to try again tomarrow.

Becarful with that shoulder shit!!!! I have had 2 shoulder surgerys in within the last 5 months on the same shoulder.  Go to the doc and have your shoulder checked if it's still not right....

I did. He just gave me the okay. I threw a footbal 55 yards on saturday with no problems. But today it just tightened up. I must be getting old. I'm gonna try stretching it out tomarrow. Maybe after the workout. I might swim too. When I had shoulder surgery a few years ago, that got it right back into shape. I'm motivated.

My shouler dosn't seem affected by weather. I think it just needs to be worked out. If it continues to bother me, I'll go see the doctor that worked on it. Thanx

I went to the gym for the first time in the morning. I always go in the afternoon or after work at 10pm. My best friend from FL called me at 9AM this morning and I had more time to kill before work than usual. It was kind of nice to do it in the morning. I was more awake the rest of the day.

Yeah.. I work 2-10 and don't wake up real early.

Do you like working the 2-10 shift?  I tried it for a short time back in the days when we worked 8 hour shifts and I hated it.  Prefer nights myself, much quieter.  Right now I work both days and nights, whatever they need.

As far as the gym goes, I have never set foot in one.  I stay busy in my spare time by riding my horses and working around the place trying to play catch up.

I like the 2-10 shift because I cannot be at work at 0550. Thats way the hell too early. I normally don't go to the gym during the day because I am in the barn working with or riding my horses too. Today I just had a lot of spare time since I got up early and figured I would do something extra.

I tend to sleep too much if I work night shift, plus I am not able to with my position. I would prefer 9-5, but like my job enough that I will stick to 2nd shift.

What kind of horses do you have? I ride english (event, dressage and H/J) and have a TB, an appy, an appendix(out on lease, trying to sell) and 2 TB/Draft cross youngsters.

Down to two right now, an appy and a pasofino.  Been thinking of getting another, the appy is my favorite and she is getting way old, can't go like she used to do.  Ride Western, mostly just trail ride, usually by myself.

I used to ride horses down inn Tennessee. But no more.Uncle, who had four quarter horses passed away, and my father sold all of the property down there 285 acres, because my mother couldn't get along with the rest of the town, and she was 15 miles away! Probably never get to ride again

Trails are fun, I don't have any around where I live so we have to trailer to the local trails. Its so much of a hassle, I don't end up going much. Plus, right now my riding horses are green and young so the comfort and security of an indoor arena is always good.

Ronin - thats a shame about that land! I have heard that Tennessee is VERY beautiful. There are always chances to ride though!
