What if - the majority of the planets population were brain-dead sheep and the 10% or so that actually do anything with their own thought are the only reason we still don't live in the dark ages!?
What if - that 10 % or so took their gains and said fuck it and let the rest micro-manage themselves to death and slowly cause the whole thing to fall apart just so the 10 % can step up again and "rise&rule" so they can gain again?
