I bought a guy some cigars about two years back, and cant remember the name of them. He liked them, and due to the holidays being here- I need to get a couple more.
The brand started with an A...ash, or ashton- something like that'
I got them at a cigar shop that closed. If you know the brand, let me know please
I don't smoke cigars, but I know a little about them. What was the country of origin, do you remember? There is a brand called Ashton from the Dominican Republic.

your right. its ashton. Found the shop and the brand. Im about to make brownie ppoints again with brass and my cheese.
I pride myself on being an avid smoker and collector. Matter of fact, I have amassed quite a collection of old antique cigar cutters, boxes and a few illegal ceeegars.
Ashton is a very well made and quality smoke, I reccomend the Ashton Aged Maduros. They have a very dark almost chocolate wrapper which tastes like CHOCOLATE, go figure..
Dominican cigars are generally mild, Nicaraguan are a little stronger and the Honduran smokes are generally strongest.
Punch, Partags {one of my favorites}, Ashtons, H. Upmanns, Romeo and Juliets, Macanudos a re all excellent brands.
ASk away if you have any more questions...

great. then maybe two or three ashtons would make a great gift.
What others in that price range (I think it was like from 10 to 40 that they quoted as the price of them singled priced.
Good cigars these days are more money than 10 yrs ago as there was waaaay too much demand and supply so now there aren't as many smokers so I think a good smoke or 'stick' is around 10 bucks. If you are gonna spend upwards of 30-40 bucks than it better be a Macanudo Reserve 1997 type, a special year edition. There are cigars called Partagas 150 I think. They were made back in like 1995 or so and the wrappers were supposedly found accidentally in a warehouse in Madrid and they were stored for like 20 years. They are about $150 bucks for 5... Go to
www.thompsoncigars.com I think thats it, google Thompson Cigars in Tampa Fla. They have the Partagas 150. Ive had a few and they were SUPER. no make that Phenominal, I dont wanna give anyone a bad taste by saying something in my mouth was 'super'
ok bad joke....
