Heres a story I don't share much ... not sure how people will take it ....
I was at dealer ship getting my truck worked on .... Sitting in the drivers waiting room there were about five of us talking about life ...
Turns out one of the drivers was a vet from Iraq .... So all the other drivers started thanking him for serving our country ...
When It came to my turn ... I said that I was sorry but I could not thank him .... I said instead I wanted to apologize to him ....
He asked why ...
I told him that it was because off all the service men and women that fought and died for our freedom ... I wanted to apologize for all the people of this country that just pissed it away ....
Of all the drivers that was there .... He got up, walked over and shook my hand ....
AMEN! You are one of the few people who see the big picture. Everything plays on something else and until people quit asking politicians to make it all "fair", we are screwed as a nation! But the mass majority don't and won't see that.....it's really quite sad what society has turned in to. I feel really sorry for my kids......they will never understand what they are missing.....
