Not that is it any big surprise...but it is freaking cold here in the Hoosier State!!  Down to 8 below for tonight with 20-30 mph winds.  Just wanted to vent.  I feel better now...Thanks for caring.

I don't envy you one bit, it was a balmy 30 here today I think.  I really feel for you guys in the midwest lately, from what I understand it's been in the single digits for a while.

Fuckin cold here too.
Right now at 1015 its ZERO with a windchill of  16 BELOW and I gotta work today.
Schools are closed all over.

well....

it was 38 this morning, high of 65 today with lots of sunshine, gonna rain thursday and friday for a"chilly" weekend. Highs are in the low 60 range and the lows mid 40s.




and no ice, snow or closed schools, but that means I have to work also.

Well, it is a balmy 28 degrees here in north-central Indiana, but as luck would have it, we are up for a very big snow.  We have only had one decent sized snow this year, and it was about 5 inches, with no wind.  Now they are forecasting 10-16 inches of snow with wind gusts up to 40 MPH!  I hope I am not snowed in here at work.  Not too fun.

Maverick .... I do not like the cold wet weather .... but the most snow we get is maybe if we are lucky an inch or two ... I have never really seen anything over 6 inches ...

It might be nice to see 16 inches just once or twice ... notice I said might ...

And E-Eman ... I know I would not want to be up there with you ... That is just toooooo cold for me ... my heart goes out to you ...


we did get some the last week of January ... It wasn't much ... but it was enough to shut down the schools ... but it was all gone the next day ... This was my front and side yard

Well...We did get the 16 + inches of snow tuesday with 30 mph winds. I had to stay home from work. I happened to be in the stretch that was in the heaviest band. Our road got plowed out about 2 on Wednesday. Then I had the luxury of plowing out my parents house as well as mine. Now we are under a snow advisory, with 2-4 more inches with winds up to 25 mph. If my pics turn out, I may post a few, if I can figure out how. Maybe if someone can put up some instructions to assist with my pics. I would greatly appreciate it.

They've really been slammed with snow in upstate NY.  Manhattan only has a few inches.  Good to see you, CTR.

It looks like there have been a few changes for the better since I have been here last.

I am beginning to wish it was Spring allready.  I am getting tired of the cold.

Well, compared to many people I'm naturally tanned, but I do like the way I look with a tan (even though I know it's bad for the skin).  As long as I don't burn, I'm happy.

And I don't blame your friend a bit for leaving Minnesota for California.

I hate sun burns as well.  I have the perpetual farmers tan so I have to watch it sometimes.

My friend should have never left California for Minnesota.  After 7 years she is moving back.

It was in the high 70's today. I even brought my shorts to wear after I was done with working out at the gym. The pool was packed with people swomeng. Now I need tofind my bikini.

My wife has had the crazy notion to go swomeng at night in the heated pool where we live.  It's nice but it's hell when getting out.  It's nice to see that my rent is going towards something.
