I hate getting sick,started in my ears,now a hacky cough, coughing up thick mucus,constantly trying to hark up a lug, and little comes up! I have enough medicine for other illness,but looks like a Doctor visit will be required to get rid of this mess,its not the flu.I dx it as a sinus infection or upper respiratory infection!
warm shower with some vicks run pn the chest with a heatring pad or warm towel will help that stuff come up. also anther trick I do is I start some water to heat...and when you see steam, drop a little vick rub in to it, hold a towel around your head and bereathe it. it really opens your lungs. (have a trash can near. it comes up)

Thanks for the medical info,My wife is a Pharmacist she started me on antibiotics this am,had a rough nite last nite.She gave me some medicine this am,I started feeling somewhat better,even got up out of bed and did some yard work,but she got on to me,you Don't need to be out in this wind.Its windy here and in the upper 60's sunny skies,So Iam in the basement on computer,wishing I could be outside enjoying this beautiful day..I'll give your idea a try later on this evening.
