I can't speak for anyone else who posted on this thread, nor will I comment on whether or not I agree with all of them but let me be perfectly clear with MY opinion. If that woman was assaulted, that was truly a horrible thing, regardless of what she was wearing or doing, and being assaulted was not her fault. But for her to arrogantly list her wardrobe the way that she did in order to let her audience know that she's a certain type of person and one who can afford expensive things distracts from what should have been the real issues - the fact that she was assaulted, what to do, and how to avoid it or better defend herself in the future. Period. If she came across as saying "I was dressed in business clothes, etc.," it would have conveyed a totally different attitude from her. If she'd said "I was dressed in clothes that I got from the goodwill," THAT would have conveyed a different attitude. Physical assault shouldn't happen to anyone. I never called her a harlot, I don't care if she's a single parent who had a child at 15, I don't care if she's blonde, I don't care if she pays $500 for a pair of shoes, all of that was her business until she made it everyone else's by sharing it .....what I care about and what I don't like about her post is that women who embellish and tell fairy tales make things worse for every other woman who's the victim of and reports physical abuse. So, if that makes me an elitist whiner who isn't any fun, so be it.

She really doesn't bother me, but I found that post a bit weird.
