Thur. night I am back to my deep nights shift. I'm gonna be very tired and cranky for a few days. My poor coworkers. LOL

I have always been a nightowl, night shifts don't bother me at all!  I just got home about an hour ago, I'm having breakfast and going to bed!

Well yeah it's technically my dinner, but it's at the understood breakfast time, so I had a couple of srambled eggs and a toaster waffle!  Usually I have cereal, but this morn I wanted something hot!

Nothing better than a full belly of breakfast food to put you to sleep after a midnight. That used to be my favorite part of my old job: free all you can eat buffet every morning you worked the midnight shift.....eggs, bagel with cream cheese, bacon, belgian waffle with fresh fruit and whipped cream, pineapple chunks, honeydew melon, two glasses of ice water and a glass of milk.

Probably wasn't the healthiest of ideas but it sure did feel good.

Good luck ice.....hopefully it won't be too hard to get re-adjusted.

I survived my first night back.... with only 5 hours sleep. Around 3a, I was tired as hell, but by the time I got off work at 6..... wide awake.

A few years ago, I would have loved the midnight shift, but not so much anymore. Oh well. There is a small chance of going to third watch (evenings) soon...... keeping my fingers crossed!

I can't do that... I am asleep by 8a usually and up by 4p-ish. My one coworker does that and is always tired and complains all the time. *shrugs*
