I can guarantee that you won't have your privileges revoked if you choose not to participate in any of the things that you mentioned. What you can do, as some have done when starting threads, is request of your fellow forum members that they refrain from posting certain types of images, refrain from hijacking, etc. I believe that those requests will be respected.

Also, we have eliminated nudity and pornography in all but the restricted areas. We've also added a "Drama Queen" section for those members who need it.

Actually deputy, I came over in addition to remaining at O.com because I wanted to belong to a forum where topics weren't censored to the degree that a profession-related site has to- NOT because of the things I mentioned above.

And to be honest, this site seems to be developing some of the same dislikes I had at O.com such as: the same topics being posted over and over again, and a select few who are (what's this site call them? Drama Queens?) who must be the center of attention in EVERY thread regardless of if they have anything relevant to post or not.

While my initial post was certainly tongue in cheek, I (like everyone else) have pet peeves. Why are some indulged and others attacked for their quirks? Beats me. I generally try not to post in threads where I don't like what I'm reading (espeially when I know that if I create a thoughtful post that addresses my concerns or questions in regards to the thread...I'm going to be railroaded as some kind of Bo-die-esque wench by the 'cool kids'). HOWEVER, today I felt like speaking my mind and so I am. AND I'm almost certain that my point will be proven within one of the threads I've responded/created today. Not a problem because if I didn't like it to a degree where it truly bothered me, I'd quit coming. Hasn't happened yet though.

To the OP community at-large:

Take my posts as you see fit, just like I do with all of yours.

Seems to me for "normal people" (if the is such a thing around here) come here to get away from the "walking the straight line of life". Forums add color to a mundane day. Why police it to death? OK, I'll bite. How did it seem I didn't like THIS thread? I was simply giving my two cents on the exact topic this tread was on, or at least seemed to be. If I don't like something you will see quotes like, "This is bullshit!", "What kind of fucked up shit is that?" . And even then, that might be part of a debate. By not liking something, in the context that we seem to be talking about, I think something is so horrid that I feel compelled to pussy run to a mod to bitch, that is perhaps when I or anyone should do a about face. I tend to agree with E-con here.....If a thread runs in a direction you don't like you have 2 options, turn it back on track or move on to a different thread....seems simple enough. I like the variety around here and the fact that some people feel they can no longer just be themselves because it isn't "acceptible to the rest of the forum society"....that's crap in my opinion! I can see the moving of the XXX to restricted areas, but changing ones behavior/identity to suit the "masses".....that's just turning everyone into sheep and sheep are boring!

I thought this is why the site is called "the other place". Members can just be who they are regardless of profession or sanity. You won't find any forum on the net free of some time of drama whether it is highly moderated or not. Personally, if I don't like it, I just don't read or post in it. Keep in mind, this is just the net so you get from it what you put in. Just a thought.

Ok that was funny but now I am over it.Why wouldn't it be me me me? I live my life, I wake up in my body, all my non mememe time goes to my kids. So when I get on here I want to have fun. I could care less what people post. UsofA's pics and stuff do not bother me. His pics are quite tactful. Boys kiss boys and girls kiss girls. Been happening since we came into existence.
