(Again)   ,I do know allot of people that were in the navy, and during the summers I deal with the coast guard a great deal. That being said, if you want to serve (just to serve) then the navy probably is the safest branch to serve in with the type of wars we fight these days. Now, if you are wanting to serve for the training,,,, well let me tell you, the coast guard are nothing but cop's that float with bigger guns,,,,,,, and attitudes. Perfect training ground.
