So on Thursday morning my Navy recruiter calls me and ask me to come out to the testing site that afternoon. Well I had a conflict that night, so he was like I will be you up at 22:00 hours and we will put you in a hotel for the night. So he came and picked me up, drove about 2 hours and did a little bit of paper work. Well then I find out that the testing place wants to start an hour earlier. So instead of a 05:15 wake up call, it was 04:15. So I get all the testing done. But again I miss it by one point for other job openings. So then I go and see the good old doctor and cough and shit. Everything worked out great there, but I talk to the placement counselor and there is no MA's positions available (military police.) So I enlisted in AD which is fixing planes and will request to switch over ASAP. So hopefully on Monday i get a call and says there is a job opening.
So anyways I was sworn in for the Navy yesterday, and tentatively my basic training starts in Aug's. of this year.

Good Luck Toby and Congrats. I used to work at a Naval Base (before it shut done due to cut backs). I was mad about that. Made a lot of great friends with whom I lost touch with. I also dated an Navy MP. I guess dating him sparked my interest even more to become a cop.
Fixing planes will be fun. You could be stationed at some exotic place or a ****hole.

That is so wonderful that you want to protect us. What a great opotunity to see the world. I have never left Kansas, so the oportunity to see other places and cultures would be fantastic. What will you be doing to planes, or do you just do everythig to fix them? Good luck!

Technically I will be fixing them, BUT there looking for a MA position so I will be doing that. (MA=master of arms, military police.)
