Well, how was your first day? It rained on me but I was fine. I have to shirts (one short sleeve and one long sleeve). I would much rather wear a tank top then the short sleeved. So I was very comfortable in my short sleeve. The first day out my FTO (I know her) took me around the town just to get a feel. I wrote 3 tickets for cars parked in a tow awat zone on Sunday.
Then we had a call for a Hostile BF. My FTO and her cover arrested her took the BF to the jail. She had crank on her in her pocket.
I have been studying the 9 codes and the Sgt. let me take home a radio. Which I am listening to right now. I am having a blast. A lot of the Officers know me from when I was a Police Explorer in H.S.
I have 5 more days of training with my FTO. I haven't aired my voice out on the radio but I hope to soon.
My uniforms aren't wool. Otherwise I'd be a wet dog. I think it was either Sunday or Monday were it was raining cats and dogs. My shirt was soaked by the time I got back to the station. I wasn't cold at all. I have my own radio and OC. I was trained to use the OC today.

It feels more like we are in Washington St. I am so sick of the rain.
I had to buy everthing out right. But I think I will get a uniform allowance so that will help. I am going to rest for a bit.
