It's my favorite time of year folks....that's right-Field Sobriety Certification time for our local police recruits. What's that mean you ask? Well, I'll explain.
SFST (standardized field sobriety testing) is the most widely accepted training in America for police officers to get drunks off the road and have successful court cases. Why you ask? One reason is because they have expert instructors. Another......BECAUSE THEY USE LIVE DRUNK TEST SUBJECTS.
That's right, in two weeks I get to volunteer to go get drunk on the police department's dime. I'm afforded my choice of booze and provided lodging for the evening and hours of entertainent of trying to fool the recruits into thinking I'm sober. Afterwards, they feed me. Then, if I'm up for it-I get to do it a second night. Yay!

I loved Intoxilyzer school...I quickly raised my hand to be a volunteer drinker. In fact, I am going to voluntarily drink tonight. I should be drunk late this evening. Make sure not to take advantage of me. I am awfully crazy when I'm drunk.
