This has been my pet peeve for time out of mind.  How hard is it to put your phone on vibrate while you're in a restaraunt?

Putting it on vibrate is the easy part.....    putting it back on that loud, obnoxious ring that I can hear over the road noise of that big ass truck I drive is the hard part.   I keep forgetting...

As I have not been home for some time now,   restaurants are my only choice for food,   and these god like creatures I work for insist I answer the phone 24/7 even though we are no longer working under a state of emergency.

Maybe what we need on these cell phones is a return to loud ring after one hour feature for forgetful people like me so you can eat your lunch in peace

When I am out with friends, I turn my phone on vibrate and have my husband call me just so I can feel the vibration....J/K

I only keep my phone on if hubby and I are out alone and kiddo is with a sitter. That is important. I keep it close to me so I can answer quickly if necessary.

With my current family situation, I check my phone throughout a time when its off .....just to be on the safe side. If I must take a call and I am in a restaraunt or any public place...I go outside. No sense in blabbering my business around others when they are trying to eat.

My family and friends know to call me on my mobile for emergencies only; I dont particularly care to converse with others on the phone when I am out; that's my time. Please.....my mobile is a useful device in an emergency or simple notification.

You sure you were joking, the more I get to know you, the more I think you would do something like that.

Actually, my dear.....once you get to know me, you will discover that I am a clown most of the time. I love making others laugh!

That is a good idea, though!
