Everyone has a fear or querk they'd like to conquer......time to fess, maybe even get some useful ideas...
I'll start....I have a serious fear of water. I have tried swimming lessons without success. I panic when my feet aren't able to touch....It is one fear I would like to conquer someday.

I have stage fright and love to sing. My mom was in a band all my life and i envy her courage to take the stage. I do not even know how to begin to conquer that.
I am scared of fire, as in a house or car fire. Seeing a house fire has on occasion made me re-examine my food choices. I've never been a victim of fire or anything like that, I have no idea why it scares me so.

I have this horrible fear... It has been bothing me a lot, especially the last few months. Getting the boot from TOP for saying the wrong thing.... That really weighs heavy on my mind.
That fear isn’t as uncommon as you might think! LOL Perhaps we should start another coarse on “concurring your TOP fears!” KAT, get the PSP going!
LMAO...I think that is covered under forum sympathy training day 2. It's where they put the shock collar on yah and every time you say something they disagree with you get a zap (no pun intended, although that could be defined as torture to some...lol)......
Ready for your "collar sizing" E-con!

Day two, cool! Yea, please use the word shock, instead of zap. That might cause a dual sense of fear that just might overload me. O, just use a cattle prod! They are more fun to jab while shocking!
watch it E-con...Photo and Plush may take you up on that concept, they like shoving their foot up your ass, a cattle prod might make them even happier yet!
(hmmmmI see a picture in there somehow.....)

Well for me I hate heights and planes So what do I do, during the academy a group of us went skydiving. Since then my fear of flying and heights increased alot more.
seriously? Did you jump? And it made it worse? That should not be.

I made the jump, did tandum with a skinny lil jumper and at the last minute I was saying I dont think I want to do this and he said doesnt matter and his little ass took me out...lol..
I didn't know it increased it until I was flying from Dayton to Cincy to take a flight to LA and the flight there I was a flipping nervous wreck on the lil jet. So I got upgraded on the next flight to like business class and was all alone.
I bet they put me by myself, to keep an eye on the spastic lady... I wonder if I am on some FAA/FBI spaz list now
It was so bad, I almost got a rental and drove back to dayton...

Not be nice, cause it is said that is not possible for me, BUT I had a similar problem and I'll tell yea what fixed it, (for the most part). I found a spot that had this place you could climb a ladder and it went up to this fire watch station thingy. Well, didn't like heights so the first time sucked. Well, many times sucked. But I went out everyday and did it once. It became a job, a choir if you will. Over time I dreaded the climb more then the height. Over time, the height didn't bother me so I started it on other things that did bother me. And it does work. But you have to do it all the time! If your fear is heights more then flight, this should work. But if it's more of a flight, then unless you have frequent flyer miles, I think you're screwed!

I have a fear of great white sharks. If I could go down in a cage I would but I am not sure how I would handle that. I think it would freak me out even more.
I have had this free of them ever since I was a kid. I was taking swimming lessons and the swim instructor told us to pretend I was a dolphin and we were swimming to get away from a GW. So ever since that I have had the fear of GW. I can watch certain movies with them but I have never seen Open Water (as that looks real-to real for me).

I find sharks amazing creatures, on tv anyway, and would love to go down in a shark cage...but doubt I ever will because of the fear of water shit. I just know i would freak out long before seeing any sharks! I don't think I would want to see GW's though.....too big, too scary!

Umm...since no one has asked....is that related to the burlap bag incident during kittinhood? *weg*

LOL....no, I got a really bad cramp and almost died. A lifeguard pulled me up and gave me CPR. Needless to say something in the ole brain broke and I forgot how to swim, it's like i never knew at all. Now little panic buttons sound off and i freak out......I really used to like water long ago.....

I can walk out in the water, I just never let it get near my shoulders or anything, too high and the panic alarm sounds....It does suck though, but i get a lot of beachtime and a really good tan!
