Ok I emailed troubleshooter 9 and called troubleshooter 5. The local news stations. I am going to hold off on fixing my shoes. The lady on the phone actually suggested that i picked the shoes aprt physically. I am amazed at how petty this fucking million dollar company is getting about giving me my fucking 47$. I am thinking of printing up some flyers with my story on it and posting about 500 of them all over maysville. Can I get in trouble for that?
Her name is Debbie Black and the store number is 606-564-6022.

That's horrible!
If they are selling a defective product, they should give you your money back.
Give me the number of the store and the managers name, and I will put in a call to them on your behalf.

Hello. My name is Janice Smith. I recently purchased a pair of shoes from a company here in maysville, KY. I paid 47$ for a pair of Sketchers sandals. You get what you pay for, right? Not the case today. I wore the shoes for the evening and the stitching came out. I returned to the store the next day to return them. I was told I had to exchange. I did this because it was the policy clearly stated in fron tof me. I received the same shoe. Within 1 hour of wearing the new pair, the same stitching began to come loose. I called the store and stated that I would like to have my money back. I was told to come to the store that the manger was there. I immediatly drove there. When I arrived I was told i could not have my refund I had to exchange. At this point I became unsatisfied and asked for a corp. number. I returned home, called and left a message. My call was not returned, I had to call 2 times to get to speak to someone. I was offered a gift card and was not satisfied with that. I then called the president of this company and spoke with his secretary. I filled her in on the events. Not more than an hour later I received a call from the first woman (heather Hayden) that had offered me the gift card. I was told that since I was not happy with this offer that they could do nothing for me and that i was stuck with a pair of non-wearable shoes. I am really at a loss now and do not know where to go from here. I feel I have been scammed. It just ammazes me that a million dollar company is so desperate to hold onto my hard earned 47$. . I would appreciate any advice you offer cause this is upsetting me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you in the future.
I hope you get somewhere with all of this Plush! This big companies need to be told their product is crap and they should give you your $$$ back, it's bullshit the scam they are pulling on you!

And your point is???? Don't have one? Well then shut up and I'll give you one!
Reporters love this stuff......send a letter to the editor of the local newspaper and see what happens from the there. Tell the story as it is,dont embellish....there cant be any penalty in telling the truth and informing the public. Dont use any names of people you talked to....that nay be a problem.
