Now I’m all for people working for a better life and figuring out a way for Immigrants to come here legally with work permits and all but this is ridiculous.
Fucking assholes can’t disrespect the country that is giving them all this opportunity by putting its national anthem in their country’s language...and the assholes are going to air that shit at 4:00 pm today.
I think it would be beautiful to hear the national anthem in any language. Just like it's beautiful to hear Silent Night in different languages. Now if they were singing the Mexican national anthem, that would be different.

In my opinion there is a huge difference between Silent Night and the national anthem of any country.
The national anthem is a musical representation of the country it belongs to. It is very dear to our hearts. If you listen to the words and think about what they mean you realize that it speaks of the sacrifices that men and women have made to not only to make but to keep this country free.
To me the Stars and Stripes represents this nation and honors Americans, of all backgrounds and ethnicities but Americans none the less, who gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country. The least we can do is keep it in our countries official language.

It will always be in english 99% of the time. Now go back to your room. I didn't say you could come out yet.

I understand it is important and I respect that. But i think it is too early to be making a big deal. Now if they start making me learn to sing it in spanish or playing it in spanish before important events, then i may bitch. But feel free, my comment was meant to be funny, kinda. And sorry, only 3 penis' allowed in my room. My kids and my soon to be ex husbands.

If you want to get technical the us actually belonged to the Indians but our ancestors who were immigrants came here and founded it made the anthem song and sang it what about the Indians national anthem? Didn't out ancestors kinda jip them of that and they are not nit picking? so in all actuality we are all immigrants. Because we didn't start here our ancestors came here.
yeah well wasnt the samething doen to the indians taking something of theres and turning it into our??????????????????
Yeah and now they are Americans and they have their casinos, tax free. Also, that was over two hundred years ago in an era in wich the borders of countries were routinely redrawn due to war. This is here and now.

PCW, FYI, we took a lot of this land from the Mexicans. Also, to subscribe to your way of thinking we are at war with the illegals as they are trying to invade us. OK. Start shooting!

Yes this is a melting pot of many differant nationalites and people of many races.
yes people come over to make better lives and what not.
first off, to make a better life, learn the langue, and dont ask tax payers to hire teacher (and counselors) to speak it. if you come...learn it and speak it.
when americans cross over to mexico for travel, fun and what not,,we speak their langue and we adjust to them...same ggoes here.
secondly....it is disrespectful. it was written and sung in english snd like said before it goes with the ccountry, there for.sing it in english.
and monday is suposse to nbe a day with out immagrents.
the thing is......if they cant take off i bet they scream that when they get fired its racial.
