OK, so am I wrong for not feeling sorry / compassion / sympathy etc for some joker who was cooking meth, and blew it up, burning ¾ of his body with 3rd degree burns, burned down the cabin, and about 3 acres of wild land?? I am almost happy that he did, is that wrong?
That was the 2nd call of last night, the 1st was another person that I think absolutely got what was she deserved. DV, female ran over by a Toyota 4 runner, 2 wheels over pelvis/chest. She had a restraining order on the guy and he has a long history of extreme violence, and this was not the first time she has been in the hospital because of him, but they were camping together as a happy couple until he ran her over in a fit of rage. Am I to feel sorry for her?
If these were true victims, I would be sad for them, but they are victims of themselves.

Don't feel too bad USA. These people got what they deserved. They played with fire, They're going to get burned. Or in this case, they got burned. Some people do the stupidest things. You were just doing your job. I would probably be happy too, if I were in your position.

I grew up learning the consequences of my actions. "Play with fire, you get burned."....Just as many of you noted.
US...you are in a profession where too much sympathy will put in a sad state of affairs and not allow you to do your job.
I have soem concern for the beahvior exhibited by those people and others like them. It is not to the point of weeping or anything.
I have a sweet heart and am always looking for ways to help others and what little I studied about human behavior to get my degree helps keep me in the real world and makes me realize that humans are stupid creatures in the beginning....we learn by failing, we succeed by trying again....the right way.

that says EVERYthng it needs to. she had the order, she failed to abide by the order (that she got mind ya) and yet these are the consequences. As Plush said..you play with fire......dont cry when your ass gets burned. (and burned she got) i think she could actully get charges on this too......
