What kind of scope do you mean? You see, there are two types of thermal optics used in hunting: sights and monocular observation devices. They help to detect and track prey in low light, in difficult conditions. Regardless of the purpose, the principle of operation of all thermal imagers is the visualization of infrared radiation from objects on the screen. So, I recommend to use this amazing thermal scope www.atncorp.com/thermal-scope-thor-hd I like the most

Best ? in truth is really subjective so with out getting into all of that , I ll tell you what I use and why , first things first what I have isnt a scope with reticle ..its a TICO 640B thermo optic ( without a reticle / crosshairs etc ) that you install in front of your traditional optic /scope and using that scopes reticle .. this allows you better all around use and practicality . ATN also offers good civilian models , I prefer the TICO 640b due to features & price , built to handle large calibers , IR attachments , it is very intuitive to use when its dark , its everything and more than I need - video ports etc .. has a very nice over sized focus knob top forward where you want it , with optics setting selectors and power buttons set up in like the bases of a baseball diamond configuration , so you know what you are selecting without looking . Being the optic is portable / quick to detach i often carry the rifle shouldered while using the thermal optic as a monocular - then once something is spotted , quickly attach the thermal to the rifle forward of the scope - this is very convenient also I know my scopes zero is unhindered .
