I believe what they are going to do is put me to sleep. Then they will manually break the scar tissue.  WHat my pt friend said when they manually do this it sounds like a gun going off. The doc. told me that if he let the pt guy do it while I am awake I would beat the shit out of the pt guy and never go to pt again. 


If they have to do this I hope they do not tear away that was sown back to the bone.

I did more then that......  were I thought I could raise my arm shoulder high he showed me that I can't.  Being my scapula muscles have taken over, he put his hand on my shoulder and told me to raise it.  I can only raise my shoulder a quarter of the way to the front and the side.  He did the same to my good shoulder and I could raise my arm over my head.

Hey everyone, I had another surgery on Sept. 1st.  They cleaned out all the scar tissue from my shoulder.   Now, I have to work hard to keep the scar tissue from growing back.  At this point I can raise my arm over my head but it's getting harder. I am still around but have not been on the net much.  I will try to be back soon.

good question, scar tissue is a natural healing process.  I was told to keep it moving no matter how stiff it gets.
