Went to a local pond, used minow and worm.....even tried the fake shit, saw some big ass fish while we were in the water, but they just didnt want to bite on our side.

Were there any carp? sometime I use corn...or liver...and that gets there attention...but I can't say that I have ever caught anything...but it doesn't stop me from trying...

It could have been the time of day you went. Being it was a local pond, do they feed the fish, and when? The only pond fishing I have ever been on we used chicken liver which worked well. But it's real messy, take a roll of paper towels. Good luck next time!!! Allways go early morning or late in the afternoon, once it gets hot they will not bite.
