No Fucking coffee!!!

So our favorite, well maybe closest decent coffee house closed up last week. So I told wacky I mean wifey we need to just buck up and go to Starfucks for our coffee.  I worked last night and just figured the wacky woud be SMART enough to buy coffee from Starbucks today so when I get up at 3 I CAN MAKE COFFEE.   Fucker didnt buy coffee for the house, Oh she DID buy a 6 pack of donuts and a COFFEE FOR HERSELF.  The cup is in the garbage...


G-d damnit.  CAn I find a wife that takes care of me??????

Dam....that's just wrong! I make the coffee in the morning and as soon as hubby's eyes open I have a cup ready and waiting for him just the way he likes it!

Because he deserves the respect he is craving and for his wife to remember the little things like having coffee for him when he is ready to go out and risk his life to bring money home!

Well, yes..he could have bought coffee himself, but if she went to a coffee place during the day, one would think she'd purchase coffee for the house since both of them drink it.

Perhaps you should buy some tonight, E, just to be sure you have it tomorrow.

My wife makes most of my coffee at home, she always makes sure there is one waiting for me when I get up in the morning.

She also reminds me when it is getting low so that I can get some whilst I am out.

Hmm, that's true. She probably did not go to Starbucks, because donuts are not their specialty. Of course, some locations do sell boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts.

We really need more information.

So, tell us the whole story, E.  Where were the donuts purchased?  Did she know the coffee jar was empty?  We need to know before we jump all over you, or sympathize with you.

Well, If you both drink coffee and you both make coffee; one or both of you should have know that you needed coffee. 


It would seem that if she bought coffee for herself then she knew that there was none to be made, but I agree with Butter ... I still need more info ...


But as a first impression ... it would appear to be both of you faults. 


As for me ... I drink coffee and SU doesn't ... but he leaves it to me to make because he always makes it tooooo strong.   Mannnn two scoops does not mean two cups.

OK, she is the main coffee drinker in the crib.  SINCE i went to night turn I dont drink coffee until I wake up which SHOULD be after 7-8 hours of sleep but its been 5-6 hrs.  OK not important right now.


SHe knew we were out of cofffee,  she told me. She also told me that her favorite coffee shop is closed..... 


On the way back from taking the cats to the vet last night we passed a Starbucks and I mentioned, 'We need to start buying from Starhumps I guess'.  I DID THE MANLY MISTAKE of ASSUMING MY COLLEGE EDUMACATED WIFE WAS SMART ENOUGH TO TAKE THE HINT-  BUY COFFEE WEDS. MORNING BEFORE I WAKE UP.  She didnt work, she had school and obviously had enough knowledge of the lack of coffee at home to purchase a nice medium coffee from DONUT CONNECTION but NOT enough to buy a pound...


So when I woke up, she went to work.  Bye hunny, nice to see you...She never even mentioned the lack of unground coffee beans to me and also failed to mention that there is an empty Donut Connection cup in the garbage,   hmmmm I think to myself,  Did my wife think enough of herself to get her a coffee during the day to assist her in energizing her body but NOT ENOUGH of her shift rotating husband???


Hmmm  


I took the kids to dinner and guess what I did????
Went to Starfuckers and bought a pound of MY favorite coffee, not hers,  Hmmmm paybacks a BEYOTCH....Plus I got a fresh cuppa hot coffee that Iam sippin right now...

Sounds like the 2 of you are having some kind of "thing" over the coffee.  She tells you that there is no coffee in the house (like she expects you to buy it) and you tell her that it'll have to come from Starbucks (like you expect her to buy it).  I can't help you with that. I buy the coffe, make the coffee, drink the coffee.  If I don't buy the coffee, I don't have coffee. 


I'm just glad you bought some damn coffee - now go make me a cup.

FOX,  that made me laugh.  We are having troubles.  Maybe its not really the coffee thats an issue but the lack of $E&. Oh fuck it,  we are having troubles again.  No US time, its her in school, then at work, me at work and then ME watching the kids whiles she is at work.  CANT WAIT till I hit top pay scale at this new job.  Fuck her I need more coffee.

I'm sorry to hear that, E.  It sounds like you're both under a lot of stress right now.  Try to arrange some time for the 2 of you together, even if it's just some coffee ().  With both of your schedules, that's going to be really hard.

I think you and I have been married about the same amount of time, but hubbie and I are finally starting to figure out that.......HINTING DOES NOT WORK....... if you want her to pick up coffee when she goes to Fourbucks....tell her. "Oh honey, can you get some coffee while you are out..I have this crazy shift stuff and it will come in handy."


Oh and the buying your fave coffee was a bit childish, you know. Lack of respect or not...you are still suppossed to love her. You could have bought half of her fave and half of yours. Now this revenge thing will start a vicious (sp) circle....not good. That leads to resentment buidling .....not good, either. I am telling you this as a forum sister......


I wake up with hubby, make him a sandwich and  coffee. He is a bath guy so I take him a fresh cup of Joe to him in the tub. He is grateful. I make him a sandwich because he gets so busy somedays that he forgets to eat....works through lunch. He is grumpy without food and will drink the bad nasty  coffee at the office which probably has toxins in it. I make the coffee and know when we are running out....I usually try to buy some before we run out. I f I forget , he will get it.....if I ask him to.
