You're younger than I am. Personally, I think I've gotten better with age.

Ok, now that you've gotten the validation from others, you need to channel that positive energy into action.

Im 34 next month and in the best shape of my life. Im stronger, faster, stronger sex drive, everything is better than when i was 18. Out of all those young whipper snappers in their early 20s in my recruit class, i came in first in the Police Officer Physical Ability Test, had the highest amount of flexibility, came in first in the 1.5 mile run, and generally kicked ass in all the combat training.

Age is just numbers my dear.

Plus chicks in their thirties are definately the hottest. So no worries Plush, your thirties can be some of the best years of your life. :)

And if I was single I'd rev your engine. :)

I don't need to validate something I already know. Beauty does come with age, my mom is beautiful and she will be 50 soon. She covers her grey though, and i hate that.

Well sure, in doggie years many of you are ages older than I.

No worries, I started early with everything! Including my first tattoo at the age of 13.

We won't talk about what else was early.

That and being in LE has aged me beyond me years.

Mmm-hmm.

Grey hair really can be so beautiful, I don't have any yet but I'd like to think that I won't cover it whenever I do get it.

That's what I always say, but everyone tells me I'll feel differently when I get it.  I don't think I will though.

You are driving your life, and the people you surround yourself with. God has nothing to fucking do with it. Karma is Karma. Do as you want done unto you. Nothing more, nothing less. What did your kids do to deserve this?

I fully respect the fact that you don't believe in prayer (and no, I do not feel singled out, lol). And while everyone chooses to express their beliefs differently in whatever they believe, the basic idea is that people here care enough to use their beliefs to wish you well and a path out of your problems. Telling them that they are wrong....well, I guess I'd just be appreciative that people thought enough of me to make the effort whether it was according to my own beliefs or not.

getting  a tattoo and becoming sexually active are worlds apart.  Further nethier makes you an adult, just engaging in adult activites.

And i clearly stated that I appreciated all the prayers and thoughts. I just dont put my faith in it. I just don't believe prayer is the answer to my problems. Only I can fix these problems. Didn't set out to offend anyone in particular. It was just what i was thinking at the time.

The anger is good as long as you don't direct it towards yourself.

Trying hard to not do that. I am okay with the needing some space, but i am angry about the way he went about it. He's been through things i have no idea about, so this is what is confusing me.

Anger can be a very useful tool when you need to find a direction. It is far stronger than the mis-guided emotional response you have for him when you aren't angry. Use the anger Plush. Use the anger to see the true story here. He hurt you, he used you, he left you and abandoned your kids.....use that anger to do what needs done instead of wallowing in the "heart". The heart will heal in time, but the decisions you make right now don't just effect you, they alter your children's lives! Put your heart on the back burner and look at the big picture here.....make positive steps in your children's future, you will be amazed how that will effect your own life as well. Use the anger to stay focused. This "situation" isn't entirely your fault, it takes 2 to get to this point, but it takes 1 to break the cycle.....be that one person who stands up for your kids and thinks of their lives....don't be him and let the world revolve only around yourself! You have it in you, I have seen it and heard it, but you have to believe it to use it Plush. When you only see despair, you will live in it and you will find it to be a lonely place that serves no good?!

Have you ever watched yourself, as if from outside of your own body, and knew you were doing the wrong thing? To give so many chances and not get the same chances in return seems so unfair. I am really in a place right now and i want to die. I am sooo tired and wore out after fighting a fight i will never win. The line starts here for the "I told you so's". I have and deserve everyone of them coming for being so naive.

How did I miss this, and damn you people for not calling it to my attention.  Now let me read....

It's just that all I keep getting is, leave him...leave him. There has to be another solution before i take that final step. Marriage councellig, but it costs money that I don't really have. There has to be something i can do to fix this.

You know it may not be "fixable", Plush.  It's so difficult when you are in the middle of a situation to look at it objectively.  Try to write down everything that's happened from a neutral position, as if it were a story you were telling someone.  What would you tell yourself to do?

For instance...

"He was supposed to pick me up at 10 p.m., and you know it had started snowing.  I kept calling & calling & he didn't answer the phone.  He was 4 hours late!  And when I got mad, because I was really cold, and wet, and the snow had gotten deeper and he was out drinking while I was waiting, he got mad that I was mad and shoved me."

What would you tell me to do?
