My day so far !!!

 As some of you know {but dont care} my wife has pneumonia.  I also have something so after not getting better in 3 weeks i made it to the doctor this morning.  9am. Iam taking off today so its like a day off.  TOns of people there, busy doctors office.   I get in and see the CRNP.  Very nice young attractive nurse prac.   My b.p. is fine, temp.is fine, heartrate ok, right ear good, left ear,  OUCHIE... VERY red and painful.  Throat ok.  Lungs COUGH COUGH WHEEEEEEEZ WHEEEEEEZ, not so good.  Go across the hall for x-rays.  OK they run late and Iam thinking I gotta go get the kids soon at school.   X-ray lady takes me back across,  the very attractive CRNP comes back in and says "No pneumonia"  YIPPEEE,  you have terrible BRONCHITIS,  not so yippeee..Gives me scrip for Z-pack.  OK I got 20 minutes to drop off scrip and make it to school..


Drop off scrip, run to STARBUCKS and have 5 mintues, realize that people in front of me are ordering huge quantities of crap drinks.  DOESNT ANYONE DRINK COFFEE ANYMORE???


Get my coffee and  get to school and wait wait wait in line.  OK Kids get in, off to the store we go.  Kids are playing "I win" or hide n seek in teh store.  STOP RUNNING!!!! dammit.


Get my stuff, get some cheese for grilled cheese lunches.. Get home.  Throw a load of uniforms in wash, start cooking lunch, NEED TO DROP the Kids off at the pool, make a Bravo Mary...


Cant, stop  now,  lunch   almost   ready... I CANT HOLD IT IN......


Phew  eat grilled cheese in about 18 seconds.  Run upstairs and do my thing


Then its back to the wash,  fix 2 toilets that were loose, clean the frying pan, clean up the mess that my daughter and the neighbor kid made   DAMN Cheesey crackers all over my table...  Dropped the coffee scoop behind the fridge,  move the fridge and clean up all the coffee grounds the WIFE drops behind there.  {How the fuck does shit end up back there?}


Finish uniforms, try to fix this darn computer as something is messed up. My firewall didnt load properly.


Take my first dose of meds. HOPE it doesnt give me a headache like a few yrs ago...


Get mail and go through about 5 pounds of SPAM mail crap... Run spy-ware check on puter.  OK no big problems....


Phew  Feel better now...Its only 2pm...

what a sucky day. sorry your wife is sick I had pneumonia before and it is not  a nice thing. Take care of her, and yourself.


glad the kids didnt get killed for playing..I know how easy it is to get there with them when you dont feel good. Cheese is not the easiest thing to clean up ethier.


 


take care of your self, get some rest and take it easy.

OK so the medicine killed my belly and I think I killed the toilet.  Better now. Doesnt hurt as much.  Nurse hasnt called back yet...


Wife came home,  wait,  hear that?? Thats her going BACK TO WORK.. Buh Bye...momma.


Now kid is crying, he wants to go to neighbors house but momma said on the way out DO YOUR HOMEWORK FIRST..  He is whining.... G-d dammit kid , do your freakin homework...


I had my first ever Albuterol breathing treatment.  It was weird.  Hope it works...

If I had felt like I was having a bad day or anything then I would be feeling a lot better now.
I love reading EasyE's posts like that, he puts so much energy into it, with a good mix of humour as well, despite how bad he might be feeling.

ACtually she did but I ran out the crib before I grabbed a cuppa joe.  If you read paragraph 2 I did get 5 minutes in Starpukes before picking up my daughter and neighbor boy. 
To add to the OBESITY of AMERICA.... Older male in front of line, maybe 50s, early 60s.  Well north of 200lbs.   Orders a Mocha something or other with, are you all sitting down???.....


FIVE scoops of Chocolate with FIVE EXTRA SCOOPS of CHOCOLATE....


I swear on my kids eyes, I heard the barista { what the fuck is that anyways?}  call the drink when done "Grande Mocha.... something 10 shots of Chocolate"

Funny thing Sparky,  this commentary of my days off are pretty much 100% accurate.  I  talk to Butter alot and she knows what I go through.  I dont exaggerate anything.  WEll except for the size of my Johnson..  Its really 8 inches.....{nah, Iam jewish I got 20% off that too}

I am not really looking forward to the anti-biotics tomorrow but its only 1 pill instead of the 2 to start the treatment.  Its only a 6 pill 5 day treatment.  I guess its only 5 days cause THE DARN THIGNS ARE PRETTY STRONG...


My wife called earlier and I asked if she got sick from her Z-pack and she said no.  When she made her guest appearance at my house for an hour, she said "Oh wait, I did get a upset stomach but not the first day but the second when took the 2 pills together"

So in closing on my typically horrible day off, I watch EARL on NBC, that dude is freakin funny and Iam feeling ok.  I might call off tomorrow just in case the Hershey Squirts is gonna attack me again.  Its bad enough when I am at home but to be on the road on a call say AN ACCIDENT and not be near a quiet resting place,,,, PHEW....

E-bro; I am sorry you are ill. Tis the season I am spitting up things that look like curdled snot (Sorry butter) if that makes you feel any better. I know its allergies gone bad and I have to go the doctor Tuesday for an unrelated issue I cannot discuss here ...so I will let that doctor take a look at my lungs. He must have seen those while he was at med school even though its not his speciality. It might all be related to tell you the truth....


So, yes...I feel for you...really.


If wifie was ill and on antibiotics'...have you been up to some sneak attacks on her while she is down or are the hershey squirts keeping you from performing. I am only asking because antibiotics mess with effects of  Birth Control Pills (if she uses that) and I am not sure if yall are planning another little E?
