A pound or two of ground beef

a cup or two of bread crumbs or oatmeal

a minced onion

montreal steak seasoning

worcestshire sauce

and since the boy likes it, I top it with catsup.

Bake at 350 for an hour...

For roughly a pound of ground beef (I don't combine meats for meatloaf) I use:

one egg
anywhere between 1/3 - 1/2 cup oatmeal (depending on the amount of fat in the beef, more fat=larger quantity of oatmeal)
salt
pepper
garlic powder
chopped onion
worcestershire sauce, maybe 1 TBS
sometimes chopped bell pepper

Bake at 350 for roughly an hour or until the internal temp is 160. Sometimes when it's almost finished cooking, I'll brush catsup or barbecue sauce on top.

I but McCormik meatloaf seasoning, 8 ounces of tomatoe sauce, 1 egg, italian bread crumbs and top with a mixture of catsup, tomato sauce and a dash of barbecue and worstechire. To serve i start with a slice of italian bread topped with meatloaf, mashed potatoes and pile french fried onion rings on top. yummy.

I will try, but she always said that if there was a way for her to communicate from the dead that she would.  It has been 7 years now, and no word from grandma.

I miss her.

I'm sorry.  I still miss my grandmother, too.  She could make a mean meatloaf.

meat loaf....

1 1/2 pound ground beef (I use chuck)

1 med. nion, chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

2 cloves garlic minced

1/2 c oatmeal OR breadcrumbs

1 egg

seasoned salt / pepper/ worchisire sauce

saute onions, pepper and garlic while mixing all the other things.

stir in the saute veggies, mix well place in sprayed loaf pan, 350 for 1 hour and 15 mionutes.

let sit for 10, cut and enjoy.

(sauting the veggies make them softer and taster in the loaf, and it brings out more of the flavors)
