All I want for Christmas....

...is a Stainless steel watch with gold accents and a gold bezel and dial face with small diamonds in the face. Its beautiful and I deserve it.

My husband got a  driver and irons for his early Christmas gift  and if he says  I need to find a different watch , he will be sleeping with his irons...and I wont tell you what I will do with the driver.

The watch costs as much as the Golf Clubs so I dont see why I cant have it!

Enough said...what do you want for Christmas?

Dear economic collapse.

I know I haven't written to you in a while and I promised I would sit back and let things roll in there own good time, but I believe your services are required sooner then planned. Please schedule a call to our country to help put things back into perspective.

Thank you

I don't think I'll get what I'd really like to have, there really isn't much that I want.

I'd love this, though.

I dont know about that...the driver he bought is mighty pretty and I am not even a golfer.

No word on the watch, yet. I am hoping to be surprised. I got the pendant I wanted last year, but only because I picked it out and he bought it right then and there...no fun!

Yes, I am spoiled, but...so what ......he knew that before he married me....

Well, I found another, less expensive watch that is just as pretty...after much thought, I realized that owning an expensive watch as I initially wanted....was kind for wasteful and silly. I would constantly be worried about losing it.....or scratching it or geting robbed.

Its all good...or so I thought.

I told hubby I sent a new pic of the watch I wanted and to not even think about the other one.....so I get...."Mel, you were serious about that other one?" He proceeds to retrieve the email on his laptop and repeats the cost......I said, "So, so...your clubs were just as much and i will use a watch everyday." After a bit of snarling and "see..see"...I told him to just get over it and see which watch I want now. He probably wait until Christmas Eve, liks always to get the damn thing anyway........damn it.....

So I woke up and 2 am and searched online for the new furniture I want instead...HE SAID I could get something nice since he bought his stupid clubs and then he goes and freaks out over the price of that watch...damn it.......then had the nerve to tell me, "oh yeah mel...you are going to wear a $2000 dollar watch with your 20 dollar jeans....cute!" Jackass......

He still does not know I went shopping yestertday.....damn it.....yeah, I bought some 20 dollar jeans..2 pair and lots of cute little tops , a jacket and some freaking shoes....THAT I DONT NEED! It still does not add up to his stupid clubs....AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHHH!!!

Well, I did mention to him that I would like a kinetic watch , like his, so I dont haveto worry about my watch batery running out..he said he would look for one that is small enough for my mutant tiny doll wrist...so at least I know I wil get a nice watch, just not the one I thought I might get if I just tried.......maybe when we have been married for 50 years and I cant appreciate an expebisve watch..maybe then.....

Consider this, I was looking at one for my son. One like this

is $149.99 and the charger and case, etc cost extra. Well, I looked into distributors and found one for $79.00 made by Super Talent (great company BTW) that looks like this

And, it's not apple trying to run in a windows atmosphere....

Major edit in this post......my sweet, charming husband came home with His and Her Zunes yesterday.......mine is black and his is brown.

I have not played with it too much today , but I am getting to that......its so cool.

Forget the watch...such a nice "just because" surprise and its not even Christmas.....he can just buy me coffee for Christmas!

I am considering getting one for myself when I order one for my son. It's nicer than the Ipod and I know the warranty dept. so that won't be an issue, and it's not a MAC!

I have an MP3 that I got for Xmas last year - I love it.  It's a 60 gig Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen.  It's really easy to use, you don't even have to use the included software, the battery life is quite long, I can listen to it in the car, and it has a lot of cool features.  I don't know if they are still making that one, but I would definitely recommend the brand.

They still make the Zenn! They are really nice and have huge harddrive capacity, but they are also considerabley pricey compared to the one I posted. If cost isn't a factor, definately recommend the Zenn. Creatice stands by their product and it is definately quality!!!! But the one I listed is good quality for the price.

BTW....I am soooooo jealous...I wanted that same model last year for Christmas....didn't get it.....

I'm very fortunate in that I have an uncle who adores his niece!  I did a lot of research before I picked that one.

And since I'm technologically deficient it will more than suit my needs for, oh, the rest of my life.
