Bad Day!?!?

For fucks sake, I have worked at the prison for 1 year and about 8 months and have been a case manager for about 4 months. Since I have been an employee 3 inmates have died...... yesterday was the 2nd on my caseload since becoming a case manager!!

I have a new title... Case Manager of Death.

66.7% of the inmate deaths have been MINE. Fuck!! I am getting a complex.

Don't beat yourself up over it. This is the life they chose. They done it themselves. I know you want to do good but you can't let it get to you to the point where it disrupts YOUR life. Yeah, you made me laugh.

Honestly, I know these guys are dying but sometimes I think the other case managers should share the wealth!

I may be whining a bit, but I am taking it okay. OH! Did I mention I have another one who was given 3-4 months to live by a doctor? Yeah... its great. Since my housing unit is closest to the hospital I have a lot of the handicap, old or sick inmates.

I sent out an email to a couple of my supervisors stating EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATLEY - I have a new title. Please address me by Case Manager Of Death. I will not respond to any other variations of this name.

 if you would lkeave the cyinal (spel) at home, they might have a fighting chance.


 


but I ahve worked in the prison system too, and trust me there are some that you WANT to die- but those will live till 100- becasue they are so annoying.
