yes in some states IF the Cj system wishes to press charges, they can and it is a felony.

Most of the time, they fire you, walk you and your box out and watch you drive/ or ride out of the area....and nothing is done from there. (usally only with sex)

If your caught with drugs, money or contraband for the inmates, and your an employee- there is a chance , depending on what, how much ect... if they press charges. one lady I worked with got fired only when it was exposed she lied on her app, (had been in the system in aonther state) had given a inmate 5 bucks and was playing "favorites" and had rumored at one ppoint to give one inmate 5 bucks. As they walked her out- they told her that if it could be proven that she in facted gave the inmate money, she would be charged.

but sometimes its just walking them out is all that happends.

Well to answer buttmunches accusation, yes i have been to jail. For a driving offense. It could have been avoided if i was rolling in dough, but i wasn't and i served 5 days out of 60 and i was even pregnant at the time. Shit happens doesn't make me a bad person. I was younger, too. I am an angel now.

This is so far off base from what I was even talking about. I didn't fucking say that inmates looked like inmates and did not look normal or the fact that people fuck up and end up in prison.

I am actually a MINORITY at my prison by treating inmates like humans and attempting to give them a second chance when they earn it.

The other topic was about people BREAKING THE LAW and doing things that are ETHICALLY wrong. I don't judge the visitors that come in and visit inmates, and the people that write and talk on the phone to them.

If you really are a cop I hope it makes you happy that people that are arrested for KILLING other people, raping, and assaulting or KILLING police officers get to have sex and fall in love with the people who are supposed to be enforcing the rules and maintaining the good order of the insitution. Instead they are brining in drugs, tobacco and money for the inmates so they can party like they are on the "outs".

First, I don't know how you work in correction, if you really do, you are such an emotional and tempermental person.

Second, your original post was all about how horrible and gross it was that someone would think of sleeping with an inmate. You bashed on the fact that they were inmates far more then you hinted at the moral, legal, or ethical issues.

Third, don't be a hater because you said you would date inmate F. You said that you were being forced to do it, that is not true. You simply were asked if you were going to pick a date, and you stated your concern about you being set up for failure. I replied "everyone else is doing it" and you then chose to date an inmate. I know you fear that you may fall for this in real life, but just consider it a learning lesson, and don't be so easy in the future. Nasty cage kicker!
