Okay i dont want to go into too much details at the risk of the vultures that patrol this site. But a good thing happened to me tonight. Some of you who know me, know that i have been having "Husband trouble". Well the final straw has been struck, and yes it took a while, but it's done. The Uhaul is outside. Thing is, he stole my car, and i tried to report it stolen, no go, shared property. Well i found it and am going after it tomorrow with my title in hand in case i have to get the po po. So i am stressing because i am broke, and dont know how to get the gas money to get my car home. I started packing up my bookshelf and found 20$ behind a book.. Now if that isn't a sign that I am FINALLY making the right move, then hell i dont know what is. Now some will say coincidence, but I, being the non religious person i am, see it another way. So no one bash please (you know who you are), just wish me good luck on my long road ahead. I am actually looking forward to it for the first time, which is another sign for me.
I know you dont believe, buit I think that is truly God giving you what you need to get going, and trust me, He will provide. (He has always put food on the table, the rent in the landlord's hand and gas in the car.)

didn't you buy that car when your husband was deployed? assuming so, i'm figuring that the title is solely in your name. and if thats the case then why is it considered 'shared property?' seems to me that some lazy police officer didn't want to start a report.
oh, is he still in the service? i know you mentioned that his chain of command has been no help, go to legal services(JAG) or even go to the Inspector General's office to make a complaint that his chain of command has done nothing to assist in the situation.

If its anything like TX, any property you buy, regardless of who paid for it is community property.

Well MP a week ago maybe i would have listened, but as of right now, i dont care anymore. He is on his own. I have already tried to help him(he stopped me from calling anymore to his command), he has walked out on the army and his family. Time for me to move on and cut my losses. "The sooner i fall apart, the sooner i can pick myself up and move on." It's simple math...2+2 does not equal "I'm here to be a doormat" it equals 4, 4 years of my life i have to push under that doormat and move on. Don't get me wrong, I love him and it will crush me to cut my ties with him, I love him a lot no matter what. But i don't love him quite enough to let him degrade me anymore.
As for the popo being lazy, yeah, they suck around here. I have to do the work for the popo and show up with my title so they don't have to stress their lazy asses.

He is gone, all his clothes are gone, i am moving my stuff. Everything here belongs to me pretty much. Well i guess it's SHARED PROPERTY, but it's mine
